Wills and Bequests
Generous donations and bequests received from people just like you enable us to provide a service that has helped thousands of people with addictions to turn their lives around.
You can make a special gift that will help us to continue helping people for years to come by including a bequest in your will to donate cash or assets to Odyssey House Auckland.
How do I make a Bequest?
You can add a bequest to your will by completing a codicil – a legal supplement to your will. The codicil needs to be witnessed, signed, and returned to your solicitor. It is important to make the terms of the bequest as general as possible because our programmes may well change before we receive your bequest.
You can download a codicil form here. Or you can talk us via email or by calling 09 623 1447.
What you receive
For every donation, Odyssey will send you a tax-deductible receipt. In the event of a particular item already having received sufficient funding at the time of your donation, please allow Odyssey the discretion of redirecting your donation to a similar project.
