In partnership with the Rodger Wright Harm Reduction Network, Odyssey provides free, confidential hepatitis C testing. Our peer-led mobile hepatitis C services are provided in Te Tai Tokerau and Te Manawa Taki in conjunction with a range of kaupapa Māori services. All services are free and walk-in: no referral is required.
Testing is a quick, easy finger-prick test with results available in minutes. If you are positive, most people can be cured in just eight weeks with a success rate of up to 98%.

Hepatitis C is a virus that affects the liver. Many people with hepatitis C have few or no noticeable symptoms, so you can have the virus without knowing it. In some cases, it take months or even years for symptoms to develop.
If left untreated, hepatitis C can cause serious liver problems over time, including liver damage and liver cancer. The good news is that a simple test can tell you if you have hepatitis C, and it can be cured with treatment.
