Showcasing Tūturu at Te Kamo High School

It was a proud day for Odyssey and Te Kamo High School as we welcomed national health and wellbeing leaders to showcase the impact of Tūturu within the kura.

The visit highlighted the strength of partnership between education and health, supporting rangatahi through evidence-based wellbeing approaches, pastoral care, and resilience-building from Years 9 – 13.

Guests experienced a warm cultural welcome from Te Kamo tauira and toured the kura’s modern learning spaces, Student Support Centre, and wrap-around support services. Tūturu aims to continue building on the strong foundations of student-centered frameworks and foster sustainable educational and health pedagogies.

We were honoured to co-host Hon Matt Doocey, Hon Dr Shane Reti, Children’s Commissioner Dr Claire Achmad, New Zealand Drug Foundation Executive Director Sarah Helm, representatives from Te Whatu Ora, and our very own CEO Fiona Trevelyan alongside the Tūturu team.

It was a meaningful day focused on hauora, collaboration, and better outcomes for young people in Aotearoa.
