Odyssey receives government funding to provide services that support people, whānau and communities across Aotearoa to address challenges with alcohol and other drugs and strengthen wellbeing. Donations help us go beyond what funding alone can provide, creating additional opportunities for the people and whānau we support.
Through the generosity of our supporters, we can invest in opportunities, resources and experiences that strengthen wellbeing, foster connection and support recovery. This may include cultural initiatives, whānau-focused activities, practical assistance, improvements to shared environments, and opportunities that help people reconnect with themselves, their communities and their aspirations.
These are often the things that sit alongside treatment and support, yet can make a lasting difference to a person's sense of belonging, wellbeing and hope for the future. It is our commitment to walk alongside people and whānau as they build healthy, fulfilling lives.

Leave A Gift In Your Will
Leaving a gift in your will (bequest) is a meaningful way to support future generations of tāngata whai ora and whānau accessing Odyssey services. After taking care of your loved ones, a bequest of any size can help create opportunities for recovery, connection, and hope for years to come. Your generosity can leave a lasting impact on the lives of people working towards positive change.
Ways to leave a gift in your will to Odyssey:
A residue gift, such as part of your estate
A percentage of your estate gift
A specific gift, such as money or property
You can make a simple modification to an existing will by adding a codicil such as:
“I give to Odyssey House Trust (CC21143) the sum of $………… (or) …………% of my estate (or) of the residue of my estate (or) property or assets as follows: …………………………………………………………………………………………………..
for the general purposes of Odyssey House Trust and the receipt of Odyssey House Trust shall be full and sufficient discharge to my trustees.”
